LANSING'S WARNING.
TO CARRANZA'S GOVERNMENT. (Received Juno 21, 1.43 p.m.) WASHINGTON, June. 20. Eenter states that, in replying to the recent demand by the Mexican do facto Government for tho immediate withdrawal of American troops from Mexican soil, Mr Lansing, in a note handed to the Mexican " Ambassador, flatly refuses, and rebukes the Carranza Government for tho discourteous tone of the last communication. He recites a long series of on trapes against Americans, both in Mexico and on the soil of tho United States, and expresses a. belief., that the Carranza Government docs not desire Villa and his band to bo captured, either by tho troops of tb© United States or by those of Mexico. Mr Lansing .says that Carranza adherents and soldiers participated in the recent attacks on American towns, when an uncivilised act of mutilation was perpetrated on the bodies of murdered Americans. Ho warns the Mexicans of tho gravest consequences if, as they threaten to do, they appeal to arms against the troops of the United States. s
