♦ -- ANNUAL CONGRESS iTer Press Association.] ' WELLINGTON, June 0. The thirteenth annual congress of tho New Zealand Alliance * opened this morning, the Rev R. S. Gray presiding over a representative attendance of delegates. Tho annual report referred to the success of tlio dry canteen system and indicated that a strong appeal should be madei to Parliament to pass antishouting legislation. Reference was made to the advance of the prohibition movement throughout- the world, and a hope was expressed that six o'clock closing would soon bo in forco in New Zealand. 1
