FIFTEENTH REINFORCEMENTS.
163 INFANTRY REQUIRED. Th'e Canterbury Military District ha* been asked to supply 163 infantry towards filling the shortage in the Fifteenth Reinforcements Canterbury's own deficiency was &4 infantry, but an extra number is appealed fcr, owing: to the shortage- in Wellington's quota. The men nrasfc report at the Government Recruiting Office Cathedral Square, in time to leave for Trehtham on Thursday evening, in order to reach camp by Friday. To miadav to-day four m«n had been secured, and altucush there are less than four days in which, to obtain 160 men, an average of forty each day,.' the RTithoritics are hoping that men will come forward in this hour of need.
