. EVERYBODY'S THEATRE. A comedy will bo .the principal item in next week's programme at .Everybody \s. It is the work of the famous " Famous Players' Company, and so carries the liall-mark of good, clean comedy, well acted and well mounted. " Mrs Black is Back " has been placed by magazines devoted to recording " movie " matters in the highest grade of comedy; the work of Miss May liwm, a recent addition to the ranks or " movie" artists," being the subject of general praise. The story deals with Professor Black's second wife, who tola her beloved that she was only twentynine years of age, when the truth demanded that she should say tlurty-six. Johnny, her son, who is away at school, is arbitrarily reduced in years n'ora seventeen to ten, and when the protestor persists in buying_ toys for the child," danger of a crisis looms large. It comes in the shape of little Johnny, a full-blown college student, and he has to play the: part of' gas-man and even : cook, but Ins sonship has to be hidd'en, because the dear prolessoi- " never forgives a liar." Incioenuuly an Irish valet, a Spanish .gambler ami others drift across the scone, add to tile troubles of 'Mrs Black and the enjoyment of the audience. A strong sup. porting programme will bo screened.
