The newspaper 4 Frankfurter Zeitong " bays, tinder the heading " First Storm Beaten Off":—"The enemy has not selected a favourable moment for the offensive, but their action gives proof of their firm determination. The position of Germany ob the Russian side is so brilliant that we are able to send considerable armies from the east to the west, and therefore we can regard these new big battles with equanimity."
