SCATHING COMMENT.

A letter found on a German prisoner from a friend at Dusseidorf states:— " If ypu saw the volunteers and Landwehr now leaving you would turn your head, for they ar© taking everybody. The last hope of Germany is in all the old mdn becoming soldiers."
