BURGLAR'S VISIT.
POST OFFICE OPENED. [Per Press Association.] TAUMARUNUI, October 24. At about two o'clock this morning the local postmaster, awakened by a noise, rose and found the front entrance of the post office burst open. The robber had meanwhile decamped without doing _ further damage or stealing anything. The police have the matter in hand.
