NEW BRIGHTON CLUB. A special meeting of the New Brighton Golf Club was held last night, when certain alterations to the rules were approved of. The entrance fee was fixed at £2 2s for men and £1 Is for ladies, the annual subscription being also 22s and £1 Is. Power is given to the committee to permit five, day lady players (Monday to Friday, exclusive of public holidays) to play over tho links on payment of an annual fee of £1 Is, but without right of membership. A new rule is also inserted relating to tho condition's on which visitors may play. _ The season will be opened by the New. Brighton Golf Club on Saturday, March 28, the president, Mr R. C. Bishop, performing the opening ceremony. An exhibition match by Hood and Clements will be played.'
