FOOTBALL.
ADDINGTON LEAGUE CLUB. The annual meeting of the Addington Rugby League Footßall Club was* held last night, Mr D. Brown presiding/ The annual report stated that the club started the last season with a membership of seventeen and concluded with a membership of ninety. The senior team tied for-second_ place in the Thacker Shield competition and the junior team won the Junior Flag. The financial position of'the club was very satisfactory. The election of officers resulted as follows: —Patron, Mr J. M'Cullough; president, Mr D. Brown j vice-presi-dents, Messrs T. Fox, E. Barnes, R. D. Bates, J. Clarke, J. Cooper, R. S. Oliver, R. T. Leathern, E. Needham, J. Weeks, G. Witty, M.P., W. Black and W. Musson; club captain, Mr E. J. Foster; secretary, Mr J. Lagan; assistant secretary, Mr H: F. v Garrard; treasurer, Mr W. Kingsland; committee, Messrs J. Moore, G. Falger. C. Pearce, C. Hardingham, W. Bowden, H. F. Garrard, R . Watts and J. Hanna; delegates to the Centre, Messrs H. F. Garrard, E. J. Foster and J. Moore; auditors, Messrs E. • Foster and J. J. Stevens; senior selectors, Messrs R. F. Garrard, E. J. Foster and the captain of the team. <
