Tho inquiry into the Marconi transactions of Lord Murray has opened. Replying to counsel's query as to whether or not it would be better to hear Mr Murray's statement first, Lord Halsbury said that it would be quite outrageous for Lord Murray to make a statement. It was for the' accusers to establish their case. The committeo did not give any direction about the courso counsel should take. . The inquiry was adjourned.
