GERMAN IMPOSITION. POWERS WILL MAKE A PROTEST. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. (Received March 14, 8.35 a.m.) BERLIN, March 13. The German-American Commercial Union has protested to the Government against the impositon of a new war tax upon American residents of Germany. Tho law provides that all persons with an annual income of over £l5O shall pay an extra tax of i per cent. Several European Powers intend to jointly protest against tho ta.x.
