INFALLIBLE HANSARD, MELBOURNE DISCLOSURES. By Telegraph—Prass Aisooiation—CopyrigM. (Received November 14, 10 a.m.) MELBOURNE, November 14. A leading article in the "Age" was debated,in the House for five hours. It stated that before Hansard goes to press a proof of every member's speech is presented to him; that the is permitted to revise it in secret, and alter it in any manner he pleases. "After this the infallibility of Hansard will live as a term of flagrant mockery." A motion was rejected by 88 votes to 29, adjudging the writer guilty of eontempt, and excluding the " Age" representative until an apology should be forwarded.
