It was stated that the American team consisted of He.skamp, a hurdler and jumper who has beaten all opponents in open competitions; Caughey, shot and hammer-thrower, a college student showing champion form; Rosenberger, a sprinter who had done one hundred yards in 9 4-ssec, and Power, who had done the mile in 4min 18seo.
