POLITICAL NOTES.
[From Our Correspondent.] WELLINGTON, November 13. LOAN CONVERSIONS. The Treasury Department has furnished to Parliament, on Mr Russell's motion, particulars of the conversions into inscribed stock of the £1,850,000 loan of 1909 and the five million loan of 1910. In regard to the former £1.612,000 has been converted to 3£ per cent stock at £lO2. leaving a balance of debentures current £237,400. Conversions of the five million loan amount to £1,857,400, leaving £3,144,600 debentures, which become due on December 31, 1914.
