TO-DAY. (Before Mr T. A. B. .Bailey, S.M.) DRINK. Two men who' were appearing at Court, charged with drunkenness for the first time were each lined os, in default twenty-four hours' imprisonment. ' "He is bordering- on the horrors," said Senior Sergeant Mathieson, when Thomas Jackson, was charged with drunkenness and breach of his pronibition order. The accused was in a terrible condition, and was shaking and twitching like a leaf. He was remanded for seven days for • medical treatment. <•' . . .'
