TWO BABY HINTS.
When bathing the baby, fold a thick towel and lay it at the bottom of the fciitli. This will prevent the child from slipping, which is the cause of the nervousness exhibited by most babies when being bathed. Tiny babies should never be allowed to co'to sleep with a bright light burning in the room, for, though it may not disturb their rest, it is a great strain on the muscles of the eyes, and may affect seriously the eyesight in after life. Should the children be accustomed from the time that they are quite tiny babies to go to sleep without a light, they will never be likely to worry for one when thev are older.
