£Per Prebb Association.] PALMIERSTON NORTH, August 9. Tho Palmcrston North Coursing Club began its meeting yesterday in fino weather. The first heats in the North Island Challenge Stakes, North Island Challengo Plato and North Island Challenge Purso were run. Tho favourite, Master Wairik, owned by Morton and Fletcher, was knocked out in the second round of the stakes by Cotterill and Sorenson's Ringmaster.
