MUNICIPAL ELECTIONS.

HEAVY poll expected tomorrow.

The interest that has been taken in the contest for the Mayoralty, it is expected, will result in heavy polling tomorrow. Mr G. W. Hulme, returning officer, has made, complete preparations for the convenience of voters and for ascertaining tho results as soon n.s possible. He wishes it to be known that it is desirable that voters for candidates for Mayor should, as far as possible, vote in the wards in which they reside. It is not absolutely necessary for them to do so, but they will save a great deal of time and trouble at the booths if they follow his advice. For candidates to fill the vacant seat on tho City Council, of course, the voting will be restricted to voters in the Central Ward.

Arrangements have been mad© for displaying the results at the Durham Street frontage of tlie Provincial Council Buildings as soon as they have been ascertained.
