A Press Association telegram states that yesterday an opportunity was afforded Press representatives and a fewart enthusiasts for a private view of the British paintings which have been brought to the dominion by Mr John Baillie. ' Surprise was expressed by everyone at the magnitude of the exhibition and the quality of the pictures. Nearly all the leading artists in England and Scotland are represented by largo or small canvasses, and one of the largest and most notable is a picture by Brangwyn entitled," Card Players."- <
