CHRISTCHURCH. Satotidat, Mabgh 23. (Before Mr H. W. Bishop, S.M.) Dkunkesness. —Three first offenders for drunkenness were, each fined os, in default twenty-four hours' imprisonment.—A statutory first offender for a similar offence was convicted and discharged, a prohibition order being issued against him at his own request..— Two female first offenders appeared on charges of drunkenness. One was remanded for a week, the other being convicted and discharged, a prohibition order having been taken out against her. A Gkavk Otfknce.—Thomas Watson Earnshaw (Mr Cassidy) appeared and pleaded guilty to a charge of having indecently exposed himself in Gloucester Street. The Magistrate spoke strongly of the "disgusting blackguards ". who made the streets unfit for women, and ordered the accused to come up for sentence when called upon, the- warrant to be suspended, provided he should remain in tho Salvation Army Home for six months.
