A gentleman representing the Welsh colony settled in Patagonia many years ago, and now numbering 4000, lias arrived by tlic steamer Opuwa to tnako inquiries with, a view to the whole colony coming to Australia, lie states that the conditions of Patagonia have become so uncertain and uncongenial that the people wished to transfer their energies to another country. The colonists are specialists in irrigation a.ud in to lid to put their knowledge to use in conjunction with dairying.
