Running nest Cutts's they were joined by Gold Pin and Don Lcno. At the mile post Dan Lcno lost his place, and Tyrannic went on from Master Paul, with Gold Pin close up, and Passive heading the others. Going down the back Milo and Idealism joined Passive, and half a mile from home theso three were within four lengths of Tyrannic and Gold Pin, Master Paul being done with. Racing for the straight Idealism also dropped out. Tyrannic had a good lead over the hurdles, where Passive was on terms with Gold Pin. Passive finished well, but Tyrannic ran home a comfortable winner bv a lonsrth, with Gold Pin three lengths behind Passive, and Gaelic,, Idealism and Milo next. Time—Smin 0 4-ssec. Dearest was first to show in front andl was soon joined by Floater a.nd Beacon, these three leading down the back, with Birkline prominent among the others. Racing round the turn Ireland, Collrsn Mary, Rurik and Kilts moved through fast Dearest faded out when the straight was reached, and below the distance Rurik and Colleen Mary ran to the front. A little further on Ireland and Rurik drew away together, and Ireland going on, won by a length from Rurik, who beat Birkline by two lengths. .Medallist finished fast in fourth place, followed by Colleen Mary, Beacon, Floater and 'Turna. Going past Cutts's Goldfinder moved up, and turning into tho back stretch ho wont on in front with Domino and Martine. At the mile post- Masterpiece went after the leaders, but a little further on Goldfinder drew out clear. Rounding the top turn Goldfinder was showing the way to Martine, Domino and Mastorpieco. Goldfinder was still in front when the straight was reached, but at the distance Masterpiece and ViceAdmiral drew away, Vice-Admiral winning a/ good race by a length. Domino was a good length further back, another length in front of Martine, with Goldfinder a bad last. Time tmiu 18 fi-uaec.

At the six-furlong post Step meter ran through fast and joined Bliss in the lead, the ordor of the others being unchanged, with Byron, Madam Madcap and Parable bringing up the roar. Rounding the turn Madam Madcap moved up on the outside, attended by Byron. Bliss was still in command at the entrance to tho straight, but when fairly in lino for home Formby drew out. Madam Madcap and Eleotrakoff challenged at tho distance, but Formby held his own and won by a good' length, Madam Madcap beating Electrakoff by half a length, with Dazzling, Byron, Undecided and Parable following in that order.
