CYCLING.
The annual meeting of the Temuka Bicycle Club was held on Friday, the president (Mr T. F. Hooper) in the chair. The principal items in the balance sheet were:—Receipts £l9B lis 7d, expenditure £l7l 17s Gd, credit balance £26 14s Id, balance of assets over liabilities £135 2s lid. Tho report congratulated tho members on tho very successful progress made during the last year. The report and balance sheet were adopted. Nino new members were elected. The election of officers resulted as follows Patrons, Mr T. Buxton, M.P., and Colonel J. T. M. Hayhurst; president, Mr G. Ward; vice-presidents, Messrs T. F. Hooper D. Grant, W. F. Evans, W. M'Callum, F. A. Joynt, W. J. Moore and A. "W. Smith; captain, Mr "W. J. Keys; vicecaptain, Mr G. Thomson; treasurer, Mr W. M'Galium; auditor Mr F. A. Joynt; secretary, Mr J. H. Pedder; committee, Messrs T. Gtmnion, W. Spillane, E. Radburnd, E. Pridham and J. Maling; delegate to Athletic Union Mr W r . Spillane; delegate to Technical Association, Mr T. Guunion; delegate to Sports Association, Mr A. \V. Smith.
