According to advices received in Sydney, tlio Maori troupe in England are in desperate straits. Though they possess return tickets, they have no means of earning a livelihood till the 6teamer sails on November 11. The Australian syndicate which financed the venture has lost between £9OOO and £IO,OOO over it.
