THE YOUNGEST BARRISTER.
Mr A. T. Donnelly was to-day admitted by -Mr Justice Dcnniston as a barrister an:! solicitor, on the motion of his father, Mr M. Donnelly. His Honor, in admitting "Air Donnelly, congratulated hi.n, and said that he was the youngest man over admitted to the Bar in New Zealand. He was glad to see that the son was following in the father's distinguished career, and ho wished him success. Mr A. T. Donnelly is a Ohristchurch boy. From the Boys' High School he entered Canterbury College in 1908, and finished his law course, both for barrister and solicitor, in three years, instead of the customary lour or live years. He i>amc of age only this week, and on the first day after attaining his majority he v.voiv' his papers and was proposed and admitted on the following days. Mr Donnelly is at present in his father's office.
