Letters from Fez state tliat the attacking Berbers are dressed as if for a f©ast, and are folio-wed by women mounted on mules, singing and cheering encouragement. If a man fell in the fighting line, the women seized and removed him.
BRITAIN'S ATTITUDE EXPLAINED. In the House of Commons Sir Edward Grey, in reply to Mr Dillon, said that France's action was not intended to alter the political status of Morocco, and his Majesty's Government did not see why any objection should be taken.
