Saturday. The weather conditions were favourable and the tracks were all in good order for training operations this morning. Most of tie work was accomplished on the outside of the course proper, which, though providing good going,, was slow. The trainers made an early start, and about eight o'clock Lowe despatched Iney for a eallop over six furlongs. She was lame when she left the course. Armamento galloped five furlongs up the back. Exmoor (Wi Pere) and Waione (Cochrane) performed a schooling task over the big fences. Commencing over the double, they went once round. King of Trumps had Nova well beaten at the end of a mile and a half, run in 3min 2sec. Prospector, with a big advantage in the weights, defeated. Maidi and Arc.light over a mile on the sand in lmin -52 sec. Pinul 'and Stavboy galloped seven furlongs in lmin 383ec. Stourton easily defeated Faunus over six furlongs in lmin 23sec. Rose Noble, Guianforte and Brilliancy galloped six furlongs in lmin 23sec, finishing abreast. Gold Braid defeated Medallist over six furlongs in lmin 21sec. Corazon (Gray) and Full Cry {Rangi Thompson) gave a satisfactory display over s» circuit of the big fences. Waitapu (O'Neill), Explosive (J. Jones) ' and Rifle Range wenre companions in a schooling task over five flights of hurdles, Wsutapu showing to moat advantage. Howick (Wi Pere) and Pskau (Telford) junmed six flights of hurdles, giving a good display. Kiatere, Bullworth and Spaniard galloped a mile and a quarter in 2min 31sec. Mahuta (Murtagh) jumped four flights of hurdles in good style. Aorangi was going better than White Cockade at the end of a mile and a quarter, which oooupied 2mm 22sec. St Amelia (R-oche) jumped three hurdles satisfactorily. St Aidan (Donovan) and St Kevin (F. E. Jones) finished together at the end of six furlongs _in lmin 24 3-osec, St Aidan's performance being! disappointing. North-East and Amato dashed over seven furlongs in lmin 35sec. Manillus joining in over the last five furlongs. North-East finished we'l and showed to most advantage. Passion. Farley Grove and Merry Lass oovered five furlongs in _ lmin Bsec. Pretty Nell spurted half a mile in 63 l-ssec, Claymore taking 55sec over a similar journey. Eaglestone and Inchbonny dashed over five furlongs on the sand in lmin 6 4-ssec. Gold Pin and Another jumped well over six flights of hurdles. Red M'Gregor and Le Beau galloped a mile and a quarter, the last mile occupying lmin 58sec. Circus Girl (Power) and Tyrannic (Cress) performed a schooling task over the big fences, both jumping, fairly well. Loch Fyne, Capitol and Te Arai, together, compassed two circuits on the sand, rurininc home the la3t mile in lmin 54sec. Loch Fyne, who had a hi? advantage in th-i weights, finished in front. Electrakoff beat Wauchope over seven furlongs in lmin 36sec, but neither was fully extendad. Compass (Cochrane), Woolloomooloo (T. Pine) and Jack Ashore (Carr) jumped four flights of hurdles in good style._ Compass afterwards put in a' strong circuit cn the sand. Ever (Gray) and Oakley (Speakman) performed satisfactorily in a circuit over the _ big fences. Totika gal'oped a mile in lmin 56 2-ssec, and Perle d'Or was given a sprinting task. Southern Cross galloped six furlongs, the last half-mile occupying 54ses. Dresdless, with the sweaters on compassed two rounds cn the sand, brushing over the last half-mile comfortably in 52sec. Red King jumped two flights of hurdles. Master Paul was fully extended over a mile, which he ran in lmin 50 3-ssec. Paritutu galloped six furlongs on the sand in lmin 20 8-3 sec.
