A Madrid message states that several Spanish deputies have sent a congratulatory letter to Don Jaime on the prospects of his restoration to the throne. Tho Pretender has replied that ho will do nothing to disturb the peace, and least of all to promote civil war. Ho is satisfied that Spain will soon become a republic, which will bo of short duration.
