Liberian Minister in London declares that Britain, France and Germany view favourably the friendly assistance of the ! United States in straightening Liberia's finances and eettlingwith creditors. He is officially assured that the United States does not contemplate a protectorate over Liberia and is not actuated by territorial or political motives.
