NOXIOUS WEEDS.
[Per Prkss Association.] STRATFORD, March 4. The Agricultural Department is actively prosecuting a campaign against noxious weeds, and nine settlers, charged with having failed to destroy ragwort on their properties, were fined sums ranging from 10s to £3, this morning. Tho Bench gave a Warning that a second appearance would mean the infliction of severer penalties.
