THE WEATHER.

«. [Peb Pbess AssoctATioN.] AUCKLAND, May 6. The steamer Koromiko arrived from Newcastle this' morning. She encountered fierce gales and high seas. On the night of May 1 she shipped tremendous seas, compelling a deviation from her course. Next day a" sea swept the deck, stove in "the starboard lifeboat* and flooded one of the cabins. Very 6tormy weather continued till the morning of May 4. The Koromiko was also delayed some time repairing a slight accident to her machinery. Mr Clement Wragge reports that the main part of the disturbance previously predicted is in west longitude, followed by smaller disturbances which will cause squalls from between north-west, south-west and south from the latitude of Cape Egmont, with intermittent rain.
