HOCKEY.
On Good Friday the. Hardware Club journeyed to Kaiapoi, where a friendly matdh was played with -the local team. ' The roatch respired in a win for Hardware by five goals, shot by Free (2), Hale (2) and Queree (1). to Katapoi three, shot by Featherstone. The visitors afterwards spent an enjoyable afternoon at Kairaki Beach. ;
