[Per Press Association^ WANGANUI, January 2. The Otago-Wanganui cricket match was resumed this morning. The heavy rain which fell last night made the wicket very soft, whilst a strong wind made the field a bit unpleasant. Wangah,ui continued the first innings and just before noon the last' wicket fell for 216. Wheeler, one of the not-out men of the previous night, was badly run out, but the other not-out man played a valuable innings for 43. Wil-liams-obtained 24 by good cricket, and Robertson also got double figures. Austin and Beal opened Otag^o's second innings, the wind then blowing stronger than ever.
