A man named Keek, charged with having wilfully misled the Registrar in the compilation of the electoral roll, pleaded guilty, and was fined £1 and costs. James Cammont, charged with making a false statement in a claim for enrolment, pleaded not guilty, and the information was dismissed on his swearing that he could not read or write and had been misinformed regarding qualification.
