POLITICAL NOTES.

— . — « [From Ovr Coreespondent.] WELLINGTON, August 4. THE COURSE OF BUSINESS. The House will probably -adjourn this afternoon, after passing a motion in connection with the death of the Hon H. Feldwick. In the evening the , House will proceed with the Estimates, and an endeavour will be mado to get them through before the House will adjourn on Friday for tho fleet celebrations in Auckland. At present it does not seem likely that this will be done, as a good many subjects are likely to be discussed as the Estimates proceed. The number of members going north for the fleet celebrations will probably not exceed fifty or sixty from both Houses, since many members intend taking the opportunity to woo their constituencies for a few days.
