The Chief Commiseionor refused to sanction the Te-employment of the members of the Tramway Executive and twenty-five other men who wore prominent in inciting the strike. A BAKERS' STRIKE. PERTH, August 3. .The bakers have struck owing to the refusal of the masters to introduce day work. The operatives have started a co-operative Kakery.
