— ♦ The Prime Minister, who was in Invercargill yesterday, will spend tonight at Waimate. To-morrow he will pass through Christchurch on his way to Oxford, where he will be entertained at a dinner by the Oxford Agricultural and Pastoral Association in the evening. On Saturday Sir Joseph will go to Cheviot, returning to Christchurch on Monday in order to address a public meeting in His Majesty's Theatre^ H« will meeb several deputations on Tuesday, and in the evening will go north. Mr Donald Bower, of Akaroa, has been appointed manager of the Parkvale Cheese Factory.
