CHRISTCHURCH. (Before Mr H. W. Bishop, S.M.) Satubday, April 18. Nocturnal Ramblings. — William Fielder, who visited Christhcurch for the holiday festivities, and while under the influence of drink wandered, into an enclosed yard owned by George Hickmott on Thursday night, was disturbed and arrested by a police constable early on Good Friday, and this morning he was charged with having been found at night in the enclosed yard of George Hickmott without lawful excuse. Fielder was convicted and discharged. Indecency. — James Craig and. Mary Kerr, for whom Mi- Donnelly appeared, were charged, with having committed a grossly indecent act within view of the public in Hereford Street. They pleaded guilty and each was sentenced to forty-eight hours' imprisonment with hard labour.
