PERSONAL.
Captain Lowrie arrived from Dunedin by the s.s. Monowai this morning. The Herbert Flemming Dramatic Company arrived from Wellington this morning by the s.s. Maori. Dr L. Cockayne is spending his Easter holidays in Christchurch. He has completed his report on the Tongariro National Pa,rk, and is now collecting material for a further report on the Waipoua kauri forest. The Hon R. M'Nab, Minister for Lands, visited the Easter encampment at Addington this morning. He will leave for Wellington this evening. It is expected that Sir Joseph Ward will arrive in Christchurch this evening. He -will go on to Wellington by the Maori.
