TO THE EDITOR. Sir, — You deserve the thanks of the community for your excellent article under the above heading. And its application to our young do*minion is only too apparent. , The disease is now so rampant that few honest men care to touch politics, and the government of this fine little country is given over to all sorts and conditions of time-serving humbugs and political snuffieb listers, whoso sole and only qualification ia jaw and cheek, together with the mouthing of Liberal platitudes. If you can assist in equelching thp orator, who askes his fellow men to support him, and he will oertainly get them an increase of at least 5s a week in their wages, you will deserve thetbank.ofever.l.on^mn^m, L Rakaia, April 16. 1908.
