THE TEPID BATH.
The following programme for the carnival in connection with the opening of the Municipal Tepid 'Baths has been approved of by, the Canterbury Centre of the Swimming Association: — lOQyds First Class Handicap, 66 2-3 yds Second Class Handicap, 33 l-3yds Dash Handicap, High Dive, Spring-board Dive, Monte Cristo Act, Novelty Act, Fire Diving Act, 12Qyds Relay Race. The following officials were appointed : — Referee, Mr G. Harris ; judges Messrs W. E. D. Bishop, G. Reese, W. G. Burns, A. Frumesj timekeepers, Messrs A. Calvert, R. O'Donnell, O. Mazey; starter, Mr J. R. Buchanan; check starter, Mr C. Kent; handicapper, Mr W. Johnson; diving judges, Messrs K. Baseett, W. E. D. Bishop, A. Calvert; marksmen Messrs A. J. Allard, E. Eldridge, E. Johnson, P. RundTe, C. Sohnieder.
