THE SYDNEY SHOWS.
NEW ZEALAND PURCHASES, (Received April 16, 10.55 a.m.) SYDNEY, April 16. At the Agricultural Show the Mount Herbert Estate was awarded second prize and reserve champion prize for Shorthorn bulls.
At the stud sales four Tareo bulls, belonging to the Mount Herbert Estate, realised £110, £100, £105 and £146 respectively. Two small bulls belonging to Mr John Small, Tinwald, brought £20 each. Mr Dalziell, of Wellington, paid £155 and £105 for two Shorthorn bulls.
