AUCKLAND, December 23. Giving evidence in a charge of murder of an infant against Ilorence Farndale, a lady residing at the same boardinghouse as the deceased said that the latter seemed an exceedingly kind and loving mother to her children, and they werd. devoted to her. X>r Lindsav,' who had examined accused, said he did not'see anything about hor that led him to suppose sh© was of unsound mind or demented.
