The Intercolonial Axemen's Carnival, in connection with the Exhibition, closed .at the sprots grounds this afternoon. ' The afternoon was bright, but somewhat boisterous. In-deed, the heavy sou- wester this morning was accountable for a decision to postpone the varnival till Monday, but happily the weaher cleared before midday K and an attendance of some two thousand people watched the secopd day's proceedings with the utmost interest.
