ACCIDENT AT LYTTELTON WHARF.
A serious accident happened on board the 5.6. Kotukii about 8.45 a.m. to-day to a man named Joseph Foraian, employed as leading hand by the Canterbury Stevedoring Association, fie was assisting to shift a movable iron bulkhead, when it fell and struck nis right leg, which was broken just below* the knee. He was taken to the casualty ward, Where the broken bone was set by Dr Newell. Forman was afterwards removed to his home.
