TlieOrangia Association, the Hetvolk and the Cape Bond have affiliated, substituting the name " TraneGranje " for^ that of the " Orange River Colony " in* official documents. The federation has decided to correspond with the Government in Dutch only, and to have branches everywhere. The South African Women's Association is acting in conjunction with the Cape Taalbond in encouraging the study of Dutch, and •in making Dutch literature more ■ cheaply accessible.
