DUNBDIN, June 5 The weather is fine, but cold.
The hills around Lyttelton were white this morning, and thero was a thin crust of snow and hail on gi'ound and roots. The bright sun rapidly melted this, and during the morning the streets were in an unpleasant state of slipperiness ana sloppiness.
