Two apparently valueless paintings found in the old Roman Cathcdie Cathedral of St Anne's at Leeds turn out to be " old masters," one being attributed to Vandyke, and the other to Rubens. The buyer acquired them for a few shillings, and is naturally elated at the bargain. He is » licensed broker and* bad no idea of the value of his purchase.
