JUNIOR CUP.
The Sydenham and Addington and Sydenham Rivals teams began a match at Sydenham Park. The latter batted first, N and were in the whole afternoon, making 220 runs for six wickets (Wells- not out 89, Forsyth 35, Murray 21, Fraser 14 and Edmonds 12). Young was the best of the bowlers tried. I Lancaster Park v. Midland. Midland bat- ' ted first and put together 325 (Homer 108, Anthony 44, Prebble 29, Weston 23, O'Brien 30, O'Farrcll 24, Ward 20, Wilson 19, Tolan 16). At the call of timo the Park had put together 7 runs without the loea of any wickets. Maher three wickets for 43 runs, and North three wickets for 87 were t-be/no-st successful bowlers. The United A team batted first against United B, and made 168 (Louisson 51, • ■ illiamts 41, Herman 33). The B team made ■ 109 (Woodroffe 20, Crighton 13).
