RIFLE SHOOTING.
The Thursday Shield competitions were j brought to a conclusion 11 yesterday afternoon j at the Redcliffs range. The/ Engineers' team A had established a long lead in thie earlier matches, and only the Linwood Rifles' te.am faced the final shoot. This Shield match resulted in an easy win for the Engineiers, with the Linwood Corps' representatives next.
